My name is Stephanie Thea, pronounced Tia, and I was born in Ft. Rucker, Alabama. Born of royalty, I have been called Princess by my parents. I am the daughter of the King. I love our God, Jesus Christ!
In this flesh and bone, I am the daughter of a Retired Military Officer and retired Flight Attendant, the sister of an Airline Pilot/Teacher, and the mother of three healthy teenagers.
My life is not perfect, nor do I claim to be. I have a skeleton or two in my closet of bones that I would like to stay there but what use would they be if I didn’t share my choices with others? Life is not about hiding but about sharing with others, loving others, through the same path because you were once there.
I really don’t mind being called a “Fruitcake”. It actually brings a smile to my face. As the Word of God says in Titus 2:11-12, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.”
So to those who look at the outer appearance they have seen a fruitcake.
It will be hard to look at the name in a positive light because we have been taught it means something negative but the way I live my life, I make the statement here that I strive to be obedient to Jesus Christ.
Has your “Life” been bringing you heartache and drama among other things but now you want to live life in a more godly way; eliminate fears, learning to be free of the shackles that bind you and smile again? The Lord has given me the opportunity to share my writings with you. They come in the form of diaries. There is a diary for each subject and they are collected and compiled to form the plural, Diaries of a Fruitcake.
The half baked world is not a world of drugs, many have asked that question, it is a world of people who are still lost, not sure who to believe, wounded by Christians, only half there to surrendering their life to Christ. In this half baked world are many trials other Christians face but they are facing them in their own power, not God’s.
Come with me on my journey into Holiness through the diaries! The Diaries of a Fruitcake, that’s me.
Blessings to you and yours!
